U.S. Women's Freestyle Team Begins Preparations for World Cup
The United States team will compete in the World Cup on Jan. 19-20 in Taiyuan, China. The U.S. is seeking its first World Cup title since 2003. Six teams will compete in the dual-meet event.
Cumberlands Ranked No. 1 in Women's College Wrestling
The first U.S. women's college poll was conducted for December, 2008, with the traditional power the University of the Cumberlands claiming the No. 1 position.
US Olympic Team Trials Qualification Process
USA Wrestling will host a series of qualification competitions, which will lead to the selection of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Teams for wrestling. All who enter the U.S. Olympic Trials process must be U.S. citizens and be a minimum of 18 years old on or before December 31, 2008.
